Girls and the Cold.

This family was my last session before going on maternity leave, and let me just give credit where credit is due…these girls toughed out probably the coldest day of the year so far…and did it with a smile. These are some tough cookies! So glad, because I love this family and I am happy we were able to do this before it was too late. Enjoy!

These Boys.

I have said it before, and I will say it again. I really, really look forward to my yearly session with these boys. They are real, and I don’t have to push them to be anything but themselves. I love discussing Stargate Atlantis (which I know nothing about, I swear) in between the clicks of the camera. I love discussing the gross smells in the alley ways. I love every topic they regale me with as we click, click, click away. They are them, and I love it.

Before I begin with this family’s sneak peak, please indulge me and my thoughts…I know I am not the only person who loves a smooshy little baby, so perhaps you can relate when I say that I am basically in love with this family’s newest addition. Something about that face just makes me melt into a puddle of baby hungry gooeyness…which is bizarre considering that not only do I have my own baby, (who I love to bits), I also have one on the way! This is not normally the time I would be fawning over a child that is not mine…but I can’t help it.

In addition to the baby sweetness, this family is quite gorgeous, wouldn’t you say? Please enjoy the blog peak (and check out those baby lips in that first picture…LOVE!)

Please excuse the cheesy title…I couldn’t help myself! You may remember these cuties from their session last year, so full of energy and happiness! This year was no different. I am back with peak of another beautiful senior girl. I have to admit that senior sessions are up there at the top of my favorites. Each senior I meet has such an awesome personality and the whole session is just a blast! This one was no different…doesn’t hurt that she is absolutely stunning, too!

First of all, I have to apologize for my HUGE blog hiatus! It has been awhile, hasn’t it? How’ve you been? We have had such a busy summer, and between our travels and shooting sessions, I haven’t had much time to update the blog. Someday I will catch y’all up on the sessions I didn’t get to blog before I sent the galleries off to their rightful places….someday.
